3) Practice of witnessing your breath
Inhale deeply and exhale slowly. Wait for the breath to come to its natural flow. What happens as you watch your breath.Allow the breath to be effortless as you silently watch its natural rhythm. Observe each moment of inflow and out flow. Don't inhale and exhale deliberately. Simply watch the breath. Don't watch your body breathing. Observe the breath itself.Beome aware of the gaps between the breaths. Pay close attention to these gaps. Observe your state of mind, emotions, body during these gaps. Keep practicing this technique. As you settle into this practice comfortable. You may choose to narrow your area of observation. Shift your focus to the point between the eyebrows. It is said, this stimulates the pineal gland ( the third eye) and one comes to awaken.
At the end of your practice, sit quietly and enjoy the stillness.
